Seksengelen is a four-part documentary series about sex work. Sex work is legal and the world’s oldest profession, but it still faces persistent prejudice. Four female sex workers allow us to follow them for several months as they go about their lives as sex workers. The women we follow have all chosen this work of their own free will. What drives them to do this particular job? They show us everything. From sex dates with clients to the daily struggle to be accepted. Does their work actually make them happy? And do we need to rethink our preconceptions? Seksengelen is a series that takes you into a world that has, until now, been hermetically sealed off from the media.
